The original track is off of Ideal J’s 3rd and final album release, Le Combat Continue (1998). Later that year Meth jumped on it. I can’t say I was up on this in ‘98, but I was definitely on my French game. Check out the remix and original below:

Coalmine Records just dropped this sampler with snippets from their upcoming releases, mixed by Mick Boogie. It features Bekay, Canibus, CL Smooth, DJ Revolution, Heltah Skeltah, Juganot, R.A. The Rugged Man, Skyzoo, Torae, Ayatollah, Marco Polo, M-Phazes, Shuko & Young Cee. There are a lot of dope projects to look forward to, great news for anyone like me who’s been hugely disappointed with every hyped mainstream release recently.
