It turns out that the Just Blaze convo was talking about a deal with Interscope. Wale had this to say:

Look at their track record: Dre, Eminem, 50, Pharrell, Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas, Soulja Boy…and the list goes on.

I wouldnt say that Soulja Boy is anything to be proud of. Let’s just hope the majors don’t ruin his music.
